Hello everyone, my name is Mr. Duffy and I am looking forward to becoming your new PE Teacher! I cannot wait to share my love of sports and continue to promote the importance of leading a healthy and active lifestyle, with the children at Dovecote Green.
I initially studied at Leeds Metropolitan University and then completed my PGCE at York St John University. Having taught PE in Primary schools in the UK, I moved to Dubai to continue teaching PE in 2016. Since living in Dubai I have been a PE Teacher in a large British curriculum international school, teaching both Primary and Secondary children.
In my spare time I love to watch and play football and American football. I play in a local football team known as the ‘Lombard Bears’ and a local American football team, ‘Dubai Stallions’. I have recently been nominated to represent the UAE for my American football team.
I am a keen traveller and you will find me spending the school holidays exploring new countries around the world. Most recently I travelled around Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. I am looking forward to meeting you all soon!
