All About Miss Payne
After completing a three-year Primary Teacher Degree at the University of Worcester in 2017, Miss Payne has now been teaching for seven years, three of which have been spent here in Dubai, at Dove Green Private School. In her teaching career so far, she has taught in FS2, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. She is very excited to be in Year 4! Miss Payne is very passionate about all things creative! She loves music and has led the KS2 choir since joining Dove Green. Miss Payne is thrilled to step into her new role next year as Head of Science and Sustainability. She looks forward to leading meaningful sustainability initiatives and inspiring our young scientists and future eco-leaders!
Miss Payne’s classroom will feel happy, friendly, bright and colourful! She believes that a happy classroom is a successful classroom and likes to ensure everyone is kind towards each other as we learn together. Miss Payne encourages children to be independent learners and creative thinkers and is keen to challenge students to achieve their best.
When asked what the best thing about Dove Green is, Miss Payne replies: ‘The feeling of a home away from home! I have settled in so well, with this being my first year living in Dubai, and Dove Green has been a huge part of this!’
Did you know? Miss Payne loves Orcas (also known as Killer Whales!) and hopes to go Orca watching one day!
