All About Miss Osakwe
Miss Osakwe started teaching at Dove Green Private School in August 2023. She completed a three-year Early Years degree at Essex University in 2014 and has since gained eight years of teaching experience across both lower and upper Key Stage 2. After graduating, Miss Osakwe worked as a teaching assistant to gain further classroom experience before embarking on a one-year teacher training programme.
Her passion for teaching and strong behaviour management were quickly recognised, leading to her appointment as KS2 Phase Leader in just her second year of teaching. She also led English across the school, successfully raising the profile and standards of reading and writing.
Miss Osakwe enjoys teaching all subjects, with a particular love for reading. Working in a diverse area has shaped her growth both personally and professionally, and she is deeply committed to ensuring that all children feel represented in the curriculum and that their voices are heard. She is especially passionate about promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in every aspect of school life.
She sets high expectations for all her pupils and values building strong relationships as the foundation for creating a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment. Her classroom is fun and nurturing, with a strong emphasis on a growth mindset.
Miss Osakwe is excited to continue her journey at Dove Green and contribute further to the school community.
