At Dove Green Private School, we are always seeking opportunities to inspire our students beyond the classroom—and our recent Canon Photography Workshop for Year 7 and 8 students was a picture-perfect example!
Led by experts from Canon, the workshop introduced our students to the exciting world of photography. With DSLR cameras in hand, students learned the basics of camera operation, including settings, focus, composition, and lighting. The session provided a unique hands-on experience, allowing students to explore their creativity while developing practical photography skills.
From adjusting aperture and shutter speed to framing the perfect shot, students were immersed in the art and science of photography. The workshop not only helped them understand how professional-quality images are captured but also opened their eyes to photography as a powerful form of expression and storytelling.
It was truly inspiring to see the enthusiasm and curiosity among our budding photographers as they experimented with different techniques and captured their own stunning shots.
