All About Miss Stenning
Miss Stenning attended the University of Brighton and completed a degree in Geography, she later gained her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Portsmouth. Miss Stenning worked in the UK, on the Isle of Wight, as a secondary teacher for 4 years before deciding to move to Dubai and was anti racism and culture lead at her previous school.
Miss Stenning is passionate about Geography and helping students broaden their understanding of the world around them, as well as consider how their choices today can shape a better world tomorrow.
Miss Stenning enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures and then bringing these experiences into the classroom to make learning relatable. She also enjoys helping students explore unfamiliar places through case studies and projects. She strives to make geography a subject that sparks curiosity and empowers action.
Above all, Miss Stenning hopes to instill in every student a lifelong interest in the world and the confidence to make a positive difference in it.
Miss Stenning is very excited to continue developing her pedagogy at Dove Green as well as getting to know the school community.
