All About Miss Armstrong
Miss Armstrong is a dynamic and innovative educator with a strong foundation in primary education, having graduated with first-class honors in Education from Stranmillis University, part of the prestigious Russell Group’s Queen’s University Belfast in the UK. Her diverse educational background includes a semester abroad in California, where she gained invaluable experience teaching in a Montessori school and a placement in the Netherlands at an international school. Her teaching career includes experience in both Key Stage 1 (Year 2 &3) and Key Stage 2 (Year 5), demonstrating her versatility and understanding of the developmental needs of children across these stages.
Miss Armstrong brings a vibrant blend of creativity and musicality to her classroom, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment. With over five years of experience teaching musical theatre part-time, she continues to integrate her passion for the arts into her teaching practice. This year at Dove Green, she had the exciting opportunity to direct the school musical Matilda, further showcasing her dedication to enriching children’s education through performance. Miss Armstrong believes strongly in the power of the arts to inspire confidence, creativity and collaboration in young learners.
