All About Mr Ahmed
Mr. Ahmed joins Dove Green Private School this year, bringing with him over a decade of teaching experience from both the UK and international schools.
After completing a BSc (Hons) in Policing and Law at the University of Wolverhampton, Mr. Ahmed pursued his passion for education by gaining a PGCE in Primary Education at Birmingham Newman University. Since qualifying, he has taught across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, developing a reputation for creating inclusive, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.
Before joining Dove Green, Mr. Ahmed spent five years at the British International School Riyadh, where he led the Teaching and Learning Community and played a key role in embedding evidence-based practices and conceptual learning approaches across the school. He is a passionate advocate for Learning That Transfers and fostering a love of lifelong learning in every student.
Mr. Ahmed recently completed his NPQLT (National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching) and is excited to continue developing his leadership journey at Dove Green. He is dedicated to promoting a positive, nurturing environment where both students and staff can thrive.
When asked, what is the best thing about Dove Green? Mr. Ahmed replies: “The strong sense of community and child-centred approach – where children’s wellbeing, curiosity, and personal growth are truly at the heart of everything we do.”
Did you know? Mr. Ahmed has played cricket at the highest level and even played with some of the current England team!
