All About Olivia Jones
Miss Jones has been teaching in the UK for 5 years and within that time I have taught many year groups.
At Bath Spa University, Miss Jones completed a degree in International Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). After gaining her qualifications she has worked within a Trust of schools where she has taught in Year 5, 6 and 4. Most recently she was seconded as Deputy Head at a school where they obtained a ‘good’ Ofsted rating. Within the Trust she has worked as Maths, PE, English and RE leadership as well as working with the NCETM (National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics) as a Primary Maths Mastery Specialist where she leads a group of school within the area to develop Maths within their schools.
Miss Jones is extremely passionate about Fostering a love for Maths and encouraging deep thinking and leading others to do the same. Miss Jones is looking forward to joining Dove Green to continue develop her middle leadership role to encourage all to be master’s at Maths!
