All About Liubov Shuvalova
Originally from Russia, I graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics and worked in the IT field for almost 10 years before deciding to transition into education after the birth of my second child. I have completed several educational courses and am currently doing my second master’s degree — this time in education.
During my university years and for several years afterward, I worked as a tutor for Mathematics and Physics, primarily helping students prepare for national exams, but I had an experience with children from 6 till 18 years old. Once I even taught a couple of students to play chess during one year.
Starting this year, I have also volunteered as a parent reader, assisting primarily with phonics in KS1.
When asked, what are you most looking forward to at Dove Green? Mrs Shuvalova replies: I love this welcoming and warm atmosphere in our school and am committed to helping every child thrive here.
Fun fact: I am very fond of learning about different cultures and languages. I speak Russian, English, a little French, German, Italian and Spanish.
