Four Houses. One Community. Different Elements. Shared Values.
At Dove Green Private School, every student and member of staff belongs to one of our four Houses: Earth, Wind, Fire or Water.
Our House System strengthens belonging, leadership and community across DGPS. It connects students across year groups, creates opportunities for every child to participate and lead, and brings our school values to life through healthy competition, teamwork, service and celebration.
As DGPS continues to grow, our Houses help ensure that every student feels known, connected and proud to belong.
Inspired by the UAE
Our four Houses reflect the natural forces that have shaped the UAE: its desert and land, the wind, the warmth and energy of the sun, and the Arabian Gulf.
Each element has played an important role in shaping the country’s landscape, heritage and development. No single element is more important than another—together, they represent strength, progress, connection and unity.

Bringing Our Community Together
Throughout the academic year, students earn points for their Houses by demonstrating our school values and participating in academic, sporting, creative, cultural and community initiatives.
The House System provides opportunities for students to:
- Develop confidence and leadership skills
- Build friendships across different year groups
- Participate in competitions, events and service projects
- Work collaboratively towards shared goals
- Celebrate individual and collective achievements
- Represent their House with pride
Through every challenge, activity, and celebration, our Houses encourage students to support one another, contribute positively, and play an active role in school life.
