At Dove Green Private School, we believe that strong schools are built when students, families and staff work together. Our Parent Partnership Network (PPN) provides a clear and welcoming way for parents to share their views, contribute ideas and take an active part in our school community.
The network helps us to strengthen communication and trust, listen to the parent voice, and create opportunities for families to support school improvement and community life.
There are several ways for parents to get involved. Community Representatives help connect families within classes and year groups and share common themes with the school. Our Parent Ambassador Groups bring parents together to support areas including Wellbeing, Inclusion and Cultural Integration; Staff Parents; and Community Events. The Strategic Parent Advisory Board provides parent perspectives and professional expertise to support the school’s longer-term development.
Parents can also take part in workshops, surveys and our Parent Connect Series throughout the year.
The PPN is based on positive, respectful and constructive partnership. Individual concerns or complaints are not managed through Parent Representatives or Ambassador Groups; these should follow the school’s Compliments, Concerns and Solutions Procedure.
We welcome parents from all backgrounds, cultures and experiences and want every family to feel that their voice is valued at DGPS.
