All About Miss Race
At Northumbria University, Miss Race completed a degree in Sport, before going on to study for her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Newcastle University.
After finishing her PGCE in 2023, she moved straight to Dubai, where she has been teaching for the past two years. She is currently a Year 2 teacher and is looking forward to moving into Year 1 next year. Miss Race is passionate about creating a learning environment that is hands-on, engaging, and built around storytelling. She loves to teach maths through interactive activities and enjoys helping her students develop a lifelong love of learning. She believes in providing opportunities for children to explore, create, and collaborate, building their confidence and understanding along the way.
As she continues to grow as a teacher, Miss Race is excited to develop her skills further and bring even more innovative ideas into her classroom. She hopes to inspire her students by nurturing their curiosity and making sure every child has the tools they need to succeed. Outside of the classroom, Miss Race enjoys getting lost in a good book and discovering new running routes around Dubai’s vibrant landscapes.
