All About Mr. Jahedi
Mr. Jahedi is joining Dove Green Private School in August 2025 as a Year 6 Class Teacher.
He graduated from the University of Cumbria with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS and later completed the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML) in 2017, showcasing his commitment to leadership and ongoing professional growth.
Before joining DGPS, Mr. Jahedi gained over a decade of valuable experience in both the UK and the UAE. He held dual roles as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and as the Year 6 Leader at St John the Baptist Primary School and St james Junior School. In these positions, he played a significant role in driving school-wide improvements, mentoring new staff, leading INSETs, analysing data to inform teaching strategies, and raising attainment – particularly for pupils working below expected levels.
Since moving to the UAE, Mr. Jahedi has quickly adapted to the diverse and dynamic educational landscape. He has embraced the international context of teaching, valuing the rich cultural diversity and unique learning needs of students from various backgrounds.
His ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues has helped him integrate seamlessly into school communities. By aligning his teaching practice with the values of inclusion, innovation, and global awareness, Mr. Jahedi continues to thrive professionally, delivering engaging and culturally responsive learning experiences that reflect the high standards of education in the UAE.
When asked, what is the best thing about Dove Green? Mr. Jahedi replies: The inclusive ethos and strong family feel of the school community make it a place where every child’s learning journey is truly valued and supported.
