All About Mr. Iqbal

My name is Mr. Iqbal, and I’m excited to introduce myself as your child’s Biology teacher across Key Stage 2 (KS2), Key Stage 3 (KS3), and Key Stage 4 (KS4). I hold a degree in Biomedical Science and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Manchester Metropolitan University. After completing my qualifications in the UK, I spent three wonderful years teaching in the Middle East, where I taught pupils from Years 3 to 11, covering everything from primary science to GCSE Biology. Science, especially Biology, is all about exploring life from how our bodies work to the incredible ecosystems that make up our planet. I aim to make every lesson hands-on, engaging, and filled with curiosity. I want pupils to see science not just as a subject, but as a powerful way of understanding the world. Whether your child is developing core skills in KS3, or preparing for their GCSEs in KS4, I’m here to support and inspire them every step of the way.

Mr Iqbal is extremely passionate about helping pupils become future-ready by linking STEM to real-world science. In Biology, we explore topics like genetic engineering, climate science, and medical biotechnology. These areas reflect current research and show how science can address global challenges. I want to help your child to understand how the science they learn today could shape the world of tomorrow.

I look forward to working together with you and your child for a successful and exciting year ahead!
