All About Miss Dignam
Mrs Dignam joined Dove Green Private School in September 2025 as the Upper School SENCo. She holds a Master’s degree in Marine Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Resource Management. Before entering education, she worked as a Scientific Officer for the British Antarctic Survey in the UK.
Her teaching career began in Riyadh in 2012, where she earned her CELTA qualification for English language learners and worked as an EAL teacher. After three years in Riyadh, she moved to Dubai in 2015, working as a teaching support before gaining her PGCE from the University of Nottingham. She has taught across both primary and secondary phases within the American and British curricula. She is also qualified in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is currently working towards her NPQ SENCo qualification.
At Dove Green, Mrs Dignam brings empathy, warmth, and a strong commitment to creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments where every student feels supported and empowered.
