Professional Background
Mrs. Hunt has been a qualified teacher for over 11 years, with her experience spanning both the UK independent school sector and the UAE.
During her seven years at a leading UK boarding school, Mrs. Hunt held a variety of academic and pastoral positions, developing extensive expertise in supporting students’ educational and personal growth. Since moving to the UAE in 2022, she has served as Head of Year 6, where she has been dedicated to fostering leadership, confidence, and independence in pupils during this pivotal stage of their education.
Having taught across a broad range of year groups, from Year 2 to Year 9, she possesses a strong understanding of progression between key stages and significant experience in guiding both students and parents through these important transitions.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe every child deserves a rich, inspiring, and fully immersive educational experience that extends beyond the classroom, providing students with a wide range of opportunities that challenge, engage, and empower them to discover their strengths, passions, and potential. I aim to nurture confident, curious, and resilient learners who are equipped with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.

My classroom is a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to challenge themselves, take risks in their learning, and grow in confidence. It is a kind and respectful space where students feel valued, inspired to achieve their best, and empowered to become independent learners.
Outside the Classroom
Outside of school, Mrs. Hunt enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and exploring new places together. Mrs. Hunt is passionate about health and fitness, taking part in fitness competitions whenever possible, as well as playing Padel. She also enjoys reading both fiction and self-development books, and is always reading at least one book.
