All About Mr. Adam Page
Role: PE Teacher
Started at DGPS: August 2026
Professional Background
Mr Page joins DGPS after three years at Uptown International School in Dubai. He has experience teaching Physical Education across Primary and Secondary, working with children from FS1 to Year 11, and supporting competitive school sport through fixtures and team programmes. Before moving into teaching, Mr Page spent three years as a professional footballer with Cheltenham Town Football Club, followed by four years playing semi-professional football in England.
Mr Page holds a degree in Sports Business Management from Hartpury University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Sunderland. He brings his academic and sporting experience into his teaching and is passionate about making PE enjoyable, inclusive and purposeful, helping students build confidence, competence and a positive attitude towards being active.
My Teaching Philosophy
“My goal is for every child to leave PE feeling successful, confident and motivated to be active. I want children to understand that progress comes from effort, practice and being willing to challenge themselves, while learning how to work positively with others.”
What Children Can Expect in My PE Lessons
-
- Active and purposeful lessons where children spend as much time as possible moving, practising and applying new skills.
- A safe and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to take part, make mistakes, build confidence and experience success.
- High expectations for effort, teamwork and sportsmanship, with challenge and support adapted so that every child can make progress.
Outside the Classroom
Outside of school, Mr Page enjoys playing golf and padel, as well as travelling and spending time with his family, particularly with his eight-month-old son, George. He values maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle and enjoys sharing new experiences and making memories with his family.
A Message to Families
“I am looking forward to getting to know your child and helping them develop confidence, skills and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. In PE, we will celebrate effort and progress, learn to work together, and encourage every child to challenge themselves and feel proud of what they can achieve.”
