At Dove Green, learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends; it simply takes on a new energy. Our extra-curricular programme is vibrant, purposeful, and designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and joy. With a rich blend of staff-led and specialist paid activities, every child has the opportunity to discover new interests, build skills, and shine beyond the classroom.

Our staff-led ECAs nurture both academic confidence and creativity, offering thoughtful support through chess, math’s support, and reading club, while encouraging imagination and expression through creative writing, debate club, building club, creative art, life skills, innovation, and enterprise. These clubs are designed to stretch thinking, develop independence, and foster a genuine love of learning in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Alongside this, our carefully selected paid ECAs bring specialist expertise and exciting experiences to our students. From the discipline and focus of karate to the energy of multi-sports, the confidence-building etiquette club, and the future-focused world of robotics, pupils are given opportunities to explore passions, develop resilience, and grow socially. Sport plays a proud and powerful role at Dove Green through our competitive teams, the Dove Green Dragons. Our students train, compete, and thrive in netball, basketball, football, swim squad, rugby, and cricket, developing teamwork, leadership, and school pride every step of the way.
