Hello, my name is Zahra Muddassir. I have 2 children at Dove Green Private School, Roshaan and Sareen. I have lived in Dubai since 2018 and have been a member of the governor board since then. I have a bachelors degree in Computing Science yet decided to change direction and spent over 14 years working as a civil servant for the National Probation Service at the Birmingham Law Courts in the UK.
Since coming to the UAE, I have worked at Dove Green Private School in the capacity of administration since September 2018.
Vision for the school going forward:
I feel passionately about primary school education and feel I can offer my experience to cast an independent, yet professional eye on the functioning and development of the school in particular for Arabic across the school. I hope to bring fresh perspective to help contribute in the continued success and growth of the school. I will work with energy and enthusiasm to help DGPS maintain its high standards, and meet future challenges.
When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Mrs. Muddassir replies:
Dove Green continues to stand out for its warm and friendly community atmosphere that has not diminished with the growth of the school. We all feel part of the school, whether as students, parents or staff. I love the inclusiveness and our voices are always heard without fail.

I am an avid stamp and coin collector!
