Hello, my name is Annamaria, mother to Alessandro. I am Italian and moved to Dubai with the entire family in 2019. I have a master’s degree in Modern Languages and Literatures and a PG in Africa Studies. I have worked several years in Africa for the NGO Doctors Without Borders but no, I am not a medical doctor, I am a humanitarian field HR & Admin expert, in charge of managing medical aid projects in developing countries. I have also worked in sport events such as Youth Olympic Games in Singapore and World Boxing Championships in Milan long time ago. After I became mother, I decided to study ADHD and learning disorders to support the children in my mother’s care homes for abused kids, where I helped them with English, French and Spanish languages. Currently, I am an independent author and I write children books as writing has always been my second passion. What is my first one? Traveling! One day I will travel around the World…probably in 80 days.
