All About Mrs Baker
Mrs Baker has been a valued member of the Dove Green Private School team for the past five years. Originally from County Kerry in the southwest of Ireland, she holds a BA and Higher Diploma in Education in Geography and Maths from University College Cork. In 2004, Aeda moved to Oman, where she taught in both an international school and a military school for over a decade. She later relocated to Dubai, continuing her teaching career in a British curriculum school before joining DGPS.
A passionate and dedicated educator, Mrs Baker is committed to helping every child reach their full potential. She strives to inspire her students to become the best versions of themselves, nurturing a classroom culture grounded in respect, good manners, honesty, and kindness. Her love for teaching is evident in the way she supports each child’s academic and personal development. Mrs Baker is especially passionate about advocating for her students’ needs and is dedicated to creating a fun, inclusive and safe learning environment where every child can thrive.
When asked, what is the best thing about Dove Green? Mrs Baker replies: ‘I love the community feel at DGPS. My three sons go to school here and are thriving and happy! I like that we can walk or cycle to school as we live close by.’
Did you know? Mrs Baker was a civilian officer in the Royal Guard of Oman Army for 4 years!
