All About Olga Huckin
My name is Olga, and I am a teacher of English as a Second Language.
I graduated from Moscow Pedagogical State University in 2007 with a specialist degree in Social Pedagogy and Educational Psychology. At the same time, I obtained an additional diploma as a Professional Translator for Expert Communities.
I also hold a Cambridge CELTA Certificate (Teacher of English to Speakers of other languages), a TEFL Diploma (Teacher of English as a Foreign Language), and a Diploma in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language.
In my work, I aim not just to teach, but to inspire. I believe that every child is unique and capable of great things when given support, attention, and belief in their potential.
I want my students to feel confident, express themselves freely, and never be afraid of making mistakes.
I am a lifelong learner, I always learn from my students, colleagues, and life itself. I love reading, growing plants, cooking, and discovering new things in language and in people.
Fun fact: I love collecting mushrooms in the forest – it’s my peaceful escape into nature. Once, that peaceful walk turned into a full-on sprint… after I accidentally startled a family of wild boars!
