All About Ms Ayub

Professional Background
Ms Ayub is entering her third year at Dove Green. She began her teaching career in the UK, teaching Year 2 in Nottinghamshire, where she also served as Science Coordinator across the primary phase. In 2014, she moved to the UAE and taught the National Curriculum for four years at an international school in Sharjah.
She then continued her teaching career in Dubai, teaching Year 4 for two years before moving into a role at a Learning Centre. There, she worked with children of different ages, providing small-group and one-to-one support to help close learning gaps and build confidence.
Ms Ayub holds a BA (Hons) in English and Media Studies with Cultural Studies from Nottingham Trent University and completed her teacher training through the University of Nottingham.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe in empowering children by giving them ownership of their learning and celebrating their achievements. I aim to adapt my teaching to meet the individual needs of every child, ensuring they feel supported, confident and motivated. Through creative approaches, including drama and discussion, I strive to make learning engaging, meaningful and inspiring.
What Children Can Expect in My Classroom
Children can expect a positive, supportive and inclusive classroom where they feel valued and encouraged to take pride in their learning. Lessons are engaging and creative, with opportunities for discussion, collaboration and independent thinking. I encourage pupils to share ideas, learn from one another and develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.
Outside the Classroom
Outside of school, Ms Ayub enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, and staying active. She values maintaining a positive work-life balance and brings this sense of wellbeing into her teaching. Ms Ayub believes in inspiring children to develop a love of learning and to approach challenges with confidence and determination.
