My Teaching Philosophy
“I believe in creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom where every child feels valued and supported. Our classroom is a family, built on kindness, respect and a sense of belonging. I encourage children to develop independence, embrace challenges and understand that mistakes are an important part of the learning journey. Learning should be engaging, enjoyable and meaningful, enabling every child to grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.”
What Children Can Expect in My Classroom
- A warm and supportive environment where everyone is respected, included and encouraged to take risks in their learning.
- Opportunities to become independent learners through engaging experiences that promote curiosity, resilience and a growth mindset.
Outside the Classroom
When she’s not teaching, Mrs Murphy loves all things Harry Potter and has visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the UK several times. She enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and her two boys, and exploring different theme parks across the UAE. Mrs Murphy is also a huge animal lover and has three rescue cats at home. She is always looking for new adventures and experiences to share with her class!
A Message to Families
“I look forward to getting to know your child and your family and working together to provide the very best learning experience for our classroom family community. In my class, your child will be encouraged to become an independent and resilient learner who is confident to take risks, embrace challenges and learn from mistakes. Together, we will celebrate successes, support one another and create a positive environment where every child can thrive.”
