All About Mrs Nour
Role: EYFS/Y1 Arabic Teacher & Provision Lead.

Professional Background: Mrs. Nour is entering her fifth year of teaching at DGPS and brings eight years of dedicated teaching experience within the UAE. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Damascus University, Syria, alongside a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. Specializing in Arabic for non-native speakers, she is passionate about creating inclusive, engaging learning experiences where all children feel supported to take risks, learn from mistakes, and thrive in their language journey.
My Teaching Philosophy:
“My ultimate goal is to seamlessly integrate the Arabic language into my students’ daily lives, making it an easy, smooth, and highly enjoyable experience. By nurturing curiosity and utilizing interactive, gamified learning tools, I strive to create a vibrant culture where children are excited to communicate and grow.”

Outside the Classroom
Outside of school, Mrs. Nour enjoys acting and keeping active through running. Whether it is expressing creativity through acting or building endurance on a run, she values maintaining a healthy work-life balance and believes that the energy, determination, and growth mindset developed through these hobbies directly enrich her classroom environment.
