All About Ms. Archer
Ms. Archer is an Irish trained primary teacher from County Waterford. Ms. Archer has always had a passion for learning and was driven from an early age to pursue a career in education. She first completed her undergraduate degree in Early Years Education in University College Cork before continuing on to complete a Masters in Primary Education with Hibernia College Dublin. Ms. Archer has worked in a variety of school settings within Ireland as a supply teacher and was working as a learning support teacher when the pandemic began which led her to making her first transition to online learning. Ms. Archer has a passion for special education and has worked as a home tutor for children with autism in Ireland for a number of years. Since making her move to the UAE in 2020 Ms. Archer has spent the past two years working as a Year 4 and Year 5 class teacher in a British International school in Sharjah, taking on the role of primary mathematics coordinator in her second year. Within her classroom, Ms. Archer strives to create a safe and stimulating learning environment where risks are encouraged, mistakes are valued and challenge is embraced in line with a growth mindset approach. She sets and maintains high expectations for her students and is dedicated to motivating and inspiring every learner on their journey to be the best they can be. Ms. Archer loves teaching all areas of the curriculum and values active learning experiences where students have the opportunity to collaborate, engage and lead in enquiry and extend their learning outside the classroom. She is excited for her first year at Dove Green and can’t wait to be part of such an amazing team!
When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Ms. Archer replies:
The best thing about Dove Green is the positive, community atmosphere that is apparent as soon as you enter the front doors. It is the type of environment where amazing learning can happen as student’s happiness and wellbeing is prioritised in cohesion with their academic development.

A fun fact about Ms. Archer is she completed a 13,000 foot skydive over the Dubai Palm!
