All About Ms. ISOBEL DEVANEY
Having completed a 3-year Primary Teacher Degree at Edge Hill University in 2018, she has been teaching for 5 years, four of which were spent in the UK. During her career, Miss Devaney spent time in FS where she worked in Liverpool, leading in two FS1 settings. Miss Devaney has taught across the Primary age range from FS-Y6. She spent the last year at Dove Green in Year 1 and thoroughly enjoyed working with this age group.
Miss Devaney taught KS1 choir last year and loves to incorporate music into the classroom; she believes it enhances the learning experience and brings children together. Her classroom is bright, calm and happy with lots of reading opportunities for children.
When asked, what is the best thing about Dove Green? Miss Devaney replies: ‘Getting to know the wonderful children and staff. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming which adds to the positive atmosphere of the school.’ Fun Fact: Miss Devaney loves dogs! She has a dog called Harvey. He is a ‘puggle’ (pug and beagle mix) and is 9 years old.
