All About Mrs KARA McClean
Mrs. Doherty gained her PGCE through Nottingham University. Her previous qualifications include a degree in Anatomy which was attained from The Queen’s University, Belfast and a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science and Biological Anthropology from Bournemouth University. She has been working at Dove Green Private school for just over four years as a Foundation Stage Teacher.
Her teaching ethos is aimed to inspire all students within her class, helping them become independent and critical thinkers, by providing them with a rich learning environment. She will endeavour to meet their needs and interests, upon which they can develop and build a solid foundation, in education and beyond.
Her classroom will feel like a mysterious world of adventure ready to explore and investigate in a positive, enthusiastic and safe environment.
When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Mrs. Doherty replies:
“Everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission as are parents of the children who attend Dove Green. This truly creates a community environment where everybody is there for each other,”
Fun Fact:
In her free time, she is committed to personal health and wellbeing, and enjoys regular exercise and classes at the gym. She is also a keen netball player, having represented two teams in Dubai.
