I have worked at Dove Green Private School for nearly 4 years. Before moving to Dubai, I taught for ten years in schools in Devon, in the southwest of the UK, teaching every year group in Key Stage Two, as well as leading Key Stage Two, and curriculum and assessment across the school. I graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2008 with BEd honors degree, specialising in primary mathematics.
My main duties in school are leading curriculum and assessment. I enjoy overseeing the exciting curriculum, checking coverage of all the subjects and ensuring that the topics taught across the school are fun and engaging. I am also in charge of the school’s response to the National Agenda priorities.
Outside of school, I am lucky to have extended family here in Dubai; I love spending time with my nieces, taking them to the pool or just playing at home. In my spare time, I enjoy making clothes for myself and friends, and spend a lot of time knitting and sewing.
