My name is Mrs. Duffy and I am excited to introduce myself as the KS1 Leader at Dovecote Green Primary School. After teaching KS1 in the UK, I made the move to Dubai to continue my teaching career in 2016. I have been working in a large British curriculum school here in Dubai as a Year 1 Leader and now I greatly look forward to inspiring, motivating and promoting a love of learning to the children at Dovecote Green.
I studied at York St John University where I gained a BA Hons in English Language and Linguistics and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Most recently I continued my studies further by completing a Masters in Education.
Living in Dubai has given me the opportunity to travel to lots of new and exciting countries – travelling is one of my favourite things to do. One of my other hobbies is keeping fit and healthy – I am a keen runner who loves to run outside when the weather is cool enough. I also enjoy spending my free time relaxing in the sunshine and eating out at lovely restaurants. Have a wonderful summer and I can’t wait to meet you all soon.
