Having taught both Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 in the UK, I moved to Dubai in 2013. I provide an engaging, creative, energetic and exciting environment for children to learn within.
My creative approach has allowed me to use different strategies to engage children in their learning and develop inquisitive individuals. My style of teaching incorporates ideas, places and objects which put learning into context and give it a purpose in the children’s eyes. I have a BA Hons in Marketing and Advertising but found my passion for teaching and also hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Early Years Leadership.
During my time at Dove Green I have taken on the additional role as Head of Foundation stage, which I have now been doing for the past two years. This extra responsibility has given me the opportunity to work with a fantastic team of FS1 and FS2 teachers as well as the LSAs.
In my free time I enjoy a balance of keeping fit and active to trying out the vast amount of restaurants that Dubai has to offer. I am also a keen traveller and enjoy visiting new destinations during the holidays.
