All About Mrs. Alam
Mrs. Alam is a UK trained Primary teacher from London. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at London Metropolitan University before continuing to complete a PGCE at the University of East London.
Mrs. Alam gained teaching experience for over 10 years in the UK and held various roles such as year leader and subject leader in extra-curricular activities. She then moved to the UAE in 2019 and joined Dove Green Primary, where she has taught Key Stage 2 for the past three years, as well as taken on the responsibilities of Year Leader and Subject Leader for Moral, Social and Cultural studies.
Inside the classroom, Mrs. Alam aims to create an environment that is positive, stimulating and supportive, where children feel they are given the skills to be critical thinkers and independent in their outlook to challenging tasks.
When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Mrs. Alam replies:
I am delighted to be a part of the Dove Green School community and its beautiful setting, which fosters a friendly, family atmosphere making it an enjoyable place to be.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Alam enjoy learning new skills and she is currently taking lessons in playing the guitar and tap dancing. Travelling is a huge passion of Mrs. Alam and she is particularly interested in nature and animals. Mrs. Alam would love to go on a safari one day!
