All About Mrs. LUBNA BEGUM
Mrs Begum is from the famous town of Robin Hood – Nottingham. She completed her degree in Mathematics from the Queen Mary University of London and completed her PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from Nottingham Trent University.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, she is a seasoned educator with a passion for fostering academic excellence and holistic development. She joins us from an Ofsted rated outstanding school, where she has contributed to maintaining and enhancing the institution's reputation for academic excellence.
Her professional journey has been characterized by unwavering dedication and effective communication with her students. She brings a wealth of experience in behaviour management, ensuring that each student feels valued and supported on their educational journey. She believes in fostering a respectful and cooperative atmosphere within the classroom in order to create an environment where students feel motivated to excel academically and socially.
She has taught the full range of the KS3 and KS4 British curriculum and believes education is not only the knowledge a child learns about in the classroom; it is the way they learn to use that knowledge. Hence, teaching is an investment in shaping individuals to become global citizens of the 21st century.
When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Mrs. Begum replies: The incredible welcoming by students, teachers and parents. I love the community feel of the school and the opportunity to make a difference to my students
