All About Mrs. RACHAEL
Miss Broadhurst have joined Dove Green Private School from August 2023.
Having completed a 3-year Primary Teacher Degree at Edge Hill University in 2016, she began her
teaching journey at a local UK school as a Year 5 Teacher and PE lead. From here, she decided to
integrate teaching and travelling and relocated to Kuwait for 3 successful years, where she was
promoted to Head of Year 4 and English Lead. Continuing with her travels, she has recently settled
in Dubai where she has been a Class Teacher and is now looking forward to her new role at DGPS as
English Lead. Throughout her teaching experience, she has taught in KS1 and KS2. Miss Broadhurst
enjoys embarking on new challenges and providing a potential to elevate learners' interest in a range of subjects. Next year, she is very excited to start her new role of English Lead, with a speciYic focus on writing and spoken language.
When asked, what are you most looking forward to at Dove Green? Miss Broadhurst said: “I am excited to meet all the children amongst the different year groups and to work within a caring, supportive community."
Fun Fact: Miss Broadhurst is very adventurous and has previously parachuted out of a plane, overlooking Dubai. Dove
