All About Mrs. dos Santos
Mrs. dos Santos is from England, where she has been teaching for over ten years. She moved out to Dubai last year with her husband and two young daughters.
After graduating from The University of the West of England, Mrs. dos Santos went back to Devon to complete her PGCE at Exeter University and focused on Physical Education and Secondary teaching. She has taught in a range of schools and places in the UK; From Oxford (where she was born) to Devon and London.
Mrs. dos Santos has had the opportunity to do a number of roles within schools. She really enjoys the pastoral element to her job, getting to know pupils outside of the classroom. Mrs. dos Santos is incredibly excited to start at Dove Green this academic year and meet all of you.
Mrs. dos Santos will be teaching PE and hopes to get involved with lots of other activities around the school. She said “I hope when you enter your teaching space with me, you feel happy, at home and ready to give anything a go!”
When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Mrs. dos Santos replied:
The wonderful, community feel when you walk through the doors. Dove Green reminds me of our daughters’ school back in England and this is just what we’ve been looking for.
Fun Fact: When I was 13 years old, I entered Junior MasterChef. I didn’t get onto the tv though as I burnt my potatoes!
