My teaching career began in 2012 when I completed my degree in Primary Education with a specialism in Key Stage One. I worked in the UK for four years and began teaching in Dubai in 2016. I have been at Dove Green since 2018, teaching FS2 and coordinating Social Studies in the foundation stage.
My philosophy of teaching is centered around supporting children to become lifelong learners who can initiate their own learning and identify themselves as important, capable and able to reach their full potential. I facilitate this learning by creating a learning environment in which children can engage at their own pace and level AND PLAY!
I usually spend most of my free time exploring Dubai and trying new food! I really enjoy travelling and being immersed in other cultures- and learning too!
