All About Mrs. Baker
Mrs. Baker is from Co. Kerry in the southwest of Ireland. She has a BA and HDE in geography and maths which were obtained from University College Cork. In 2004, Mrs. Baker moved to Oman where she taught in an international school and a military school. After eleven years, she moved to Dubai where she worked in a British school before joining Dove Green Private School.
Mrs. Baker is a passionate teacher who aims to help children reach their full potential. She loves to inspire children to be the best version of themselves that they can be. Mrs. Baker believes in values such as respect, manners, honesty, and kindness to name a few. She loves to see her students learn and grow. She is passionate about advocating for her students’ needs and creating a fun and safe learning environment.
When asked what the best thing about Dove Green is, Mrs. Baker replies: I love the community feel here. My two sons go to school here and my youngest son will join in a few years. I like that they can walk or cycle to school as we live close by.
Fun Fact:
Mrs. Baker was a civilian officer in the Royal Guard of Oman army for four years.
