All About Ms. McDonnell
Ms. McDonnell gained her degree in Early Childhood Care and Education at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, Ireland. She worked in crèches, preschools and afterschool clubs in Ireland for four years before moving to Dubai where she worked for three years as a KG1 and grade 2 teacher. Ms. McDonnell then gained a PGCE qualification at the University of Sunderland. She has been teaching at Dove Green for one year as an FS1 Class Teacher. Ms. McDonnell has a keen interest in working with SEN students and believes in the importance of inclusive education. Ms. McDonnell enjoys a calm classroom environment where students feel comfortable and valued and enjoy their time being actively engaged in fun activities.
When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Ms. McDonnell replies:
The sense of community around the school.
