All About Ms Ayub
In the UK Ms Ayub completed her first two years of teaching in a Primary school in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire teaching in Year 2 where she took on the role of the Science Coordinator across primary. She then moved to the UAE in 2014, where she taught the National Curriculum for four years in an international school in Sharjah. Ms Ayub was awarded ‘Teacher of the Year’ in her 3rd year in the school. She then accepted a role in a large school in Dubai where she taught in Year 4 for a further 2 years. Since 2021 Ms Ayub has been working for a Learning Centre which caters to working with children one to one or in small groups to narrow down the gaps in their learning. She has helped children of all ages. She believes in giving children ownership of their learning and celebrates their achievements.
Ms Ayub gained her BA Hons at The Nottingham Trent University where she studied English with Media and Cultural Studies. She later moved to an outstanding school in Stockport to complete her teaching training (SCITT) through ‘The University of Nottingham’.
Ms Ayub loves to apply different teaching styles in the classroom to cater to the different needs of her students. She enjoys incorporating drama into her English lessons to get the best out of the children.
Ms Ayub has two children who attend Dove Green Private School and she is really looking forward to joining the Year 5 team and meeting her class.
When asked, ‘What is the best thing about Dove Green?’ Ms Ayub replies:
‘The best thing about Dove Green is the sense of community in and outside of the school environment. The support of the parents is amazing and being able to work collaboratively so children can come to school knowing they are at the heart of everything the school stands for.’
