All About Mr. Coulter
Mr. Coulter has been teaching at Dove Green Private School since February 2024. Having served as a Military Bandsman, then with the Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra, Mr. Coulter completed a degree in Music and then a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Manchester. Three decades of experience in UK, IB and International Schools delivering from Year 3 to Year 12 has followed. Deeper exploration through a Masters degree in Education from UCL led to a passion for training in education.
Entering his tenth year here in Dubai, Mr. Coulter is as passionate about teaching and learning now as ever. Embarking on another NPQ course in leading teacher development will support him in his role as Professional Development Coordinator. His belief in the power of collaboration, compassion, and pedagogical innovation has driven him to engage in educational events and conferences, sharing insights and best practices on topics such as pedagogy, teacher wellbeing, inclusive education. Always eager to connect with fellow education enthusiasts, Mr. Coulter is extremely excited to continue his journey at Dove Green Private School, where is real passion unwaveringly remains being inspired by students in the classroom.
When asked, what is the best thing about Dove Green? Mr. Coulter replies: ‘Smiling, active students. In a rainforest of diversity, the heartbeat of our school beats stronger through the engagement of our wonderful students!’
