All About Mr.McCabe
Mr. McCabe is from a small county called Fermanagh in Ireland. His journey in education began with a deep passion for Physical Education, which led him to study at John Moores University in Liverpool. Mr. McCabe pursued a degree in Physical Education, dedicating three years to his studies. Unfortunately, the global pandemic cut his final year short in 2020, but he adapted with resilience and continued to pursue his professional development. Following his studies, Mr. McCabe spent a year working in a secondary school, gaining invaluable hands-on experience within the PE Department. This experience was instrumental in refining his teaching skills and understanding the dynamics of Physical Education in a school setting.
Determined to further his expertise, Mr. McCabe obtained his PGCE in Primary Education with PE Specialism, achieving Qualified Teacher Status in 2022. This qualification marked a significant milestone in his career, equipping him with the skills to inspire and educate young learners.
In 2022, Mr. McCabe embraced a new adventure by relocating to Dubai, where he has been teaching for the past two years. His international experience has broadened his educational perspectives. Mr. McCabe is dedicated to fostering a love for Physical Education and creating a positive, engaging learning environment for his students.
Outside of teaching, Mr. McCabe is a devoted sports enthusiast. He has a deep love for football, golf, and Gaelic football – an Irish sport that combines elements of football and rugby! His passion for sports extends to his hobbies, which include going to the gym, exploring new destinations through travel, and enjoying walks with his dogs back home in Ireland.
Fun Fact: Mr McCabe has climbed the highest mountain in Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales!
