All About Mrs. Darin

Mrs. Darin was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, where she graduated from Cairo University with a degree in English from the Faculty of Arts. She initially pursued a career in aviation but decided to transition into education after the birth of her second child.

Mrs. Darin worked as a class teacher for two years at an American school in Dubai before joining Dove Green Private School in 2017. She earned her PGCEI from the University of Nottingham and developed a strong interest in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). Her passion for fostering the progress of SEN students led her to pursue and complete the International Award in SEN Coordination (ISENCO) from Middlesex University in April 2024.

She believes in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive at their own pace. She is passionate about fostering emotional well-being and holistic growth, which is why She has led mindfulness and sensory circuit clubs that have been incredibly popular with students. These clubs provide valuable tools for managing stress, improving focus, and building confidence, helping every child feel more empowered and engaged in their learning journey.

When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Mrs. Darin replies:

I love Dove Green because of the positivity of the staff, the creativity of the students, and the way we all come together as one big family.

Fun Fact:

Mrs. Darin has a fear of both geckos and lizards.
