All About Miss Aquila
Miss Aylin Aguila has recently joined Dove Green Private School as a Music Teacher. Originally from Cuba, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Music, specialising in piano before pursuing her PGCEi (Postgraduate Certificate in Education International) with Liverpool John Moores University this year. Eight years ago, Miss Aguila moved to the Middle East, teaching and performing piano in countries such as Qatar, Bahrain, and most recently, the UAE. Prior to joining Dove Green, she taught at a British International School in Abu Dhabi. During her time in Cuba, Miss Aguila performed in recognised venues in the capital, Havana, and received master classes from renowned teachers from around the world.
Miss Aguila is deeply passionate about teaching and believes in nurturing every child’s talent and creativity while adhering to curriculum standards. She has extensive experience in preparing school concerts and recitals, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents in a supportive environment.
She is thrilled to embark on this new journey at Dove Green, expressing her excitement about the school environment and the kindness of the students.
