All About Ms. Davis
Ms. Davis was born and bred in the diverse city of Birmingham, UK. She studied her Bachelors in Geology and Oceanography and the University of Brighton to then complete her Masters in Chemical Oceanography at the University of Cyprus.
Her international teaching career started in 2020 where she began teaching in Kuwait in a British School before moving to Dubai in 2024. She is a member of the National Geographic Society and Marine Biological Stewardship. It was in the UAE where she was able to blossom as an effective practitioner – in the richness, friendliness and variety of the Middle-Eastern culture which was the making of her personally and professionally.
She strongly believes that education does not start and end in the classroom, and prides herself on her nurturing element and her ability to form effective and meaningful relationships to get the best out of those around her. She has a passion for not just Geography but also Sport– playing for Dubai Women’s Phoenix Rugby Club and swimming in her leisure.
When asked what is the best thing about Dove Green, Ms. Davis replies:
Without a doubt, it is being part of a wider community of colleagues, students, parents and friends alike which makes teamwork seamless and working so enjoyable.
Fun Fact: I own every single National Geographic Magazine from 1952.
