All About Mr Morgan
Mr Morgan completed his degree in Primary Education at Kingston University, London. During his time there, he specialised in History and Geography. After gaining his UK qualification in 2014, he commenced teaching in London for two years, before moving to the UAE in 2016. He has recently spent the last three years teaching across Years 4 and 6 in the UK. Throughout his teaching career, he has taught across both Key Stages One and Two.
Mr Morgan is keen to share his passion for using technology within the curriculum and was the Computing Leader in his previous schools. Mr Morgan is a qualified swimming teacher and enjoys swimming, running and fitness classes in his own time. During his time in Dubai and the UK, Mr Morgan has had the opportunity to teach both the UK British Curriculum and the Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum and aims to foster learning which develops independence, innovation and inquiry skills.
Mr Morgan is looking forward to developing his pedagogy further in the next academic year and aims to transfer the skills and knowledge he has gained in his previous middle leadership roles to Dove Green.
When asked, what is the best thing about Dove Green? Mr Morgan replies:
‘The wonderful community cohesion that exists. We have such enthusiastic and welcoming learners, staff and parents.’
