All About Miss Lewis
Miss Lewis is from Liverpool, UK, and has spent the last seven years residing in Dubai. Her professional journey began in the dynamic world of Film and TV at The BBC, followed by teaching Film in Connecticut, USA. She earned her B.A. in Media Professional Studies from Liverpool John Moore’s University, which laid the foundation for her subsequent PGCE in ICT for Secondary Education and Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
Throughout her career, Miss Lewis has been driven by a passion for Inclusion. This passion led her to achieve the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCO) in 2021. She has also had the privilege of successfully leading on Inclusion at two schools in Dubai and was honored to speak at the Incluzon Dubai Summit in 2023, where she shared insights on advancing diversity and inclusion in education.
With over 12 years’ experience in education, Miss Lewis is eager to bring her leadership and expertise in inclusive education to DGPS. She is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Miss Lewis is deeply passionate about fitness and well-being. In Dubai, she has recently participated in fitness competitions such as Hyrox and Tough Mudder, advocating for a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition.
She is looking forward to meeting and collaborating with each of you at DGPS.
