All About Mrs. Nour
Mrs. Nour has been teaching Primary Education for 4 years in Sharjah, she taught Qur’an to young children in center affiliated with Ministry of Endowment. She graduated from Damascus University with good degree and she got a diploma in educational qualification. Mrs. Nour has taught in Syria for 2 years within KS2. In 2013 she moved to Ajman to teach, and in 2022 moved to Dubai to start her teaching role at DGPS as a cover teacher.
Mrs. Nour will be joining Dove Green in August 2022 and she cannot wait to get started. She is working to improve the levels of students in reading and writing and make them love and strive for Arabic language. She feels the most effective teaching methods are from an active and child-centered learning environment where students can take educational responsibility, are free to make mistakes and are empowered in their own learning, progress and reflection. Mrs. Nour’s classroom is a rich and fun environment for all learners capturing a comfortable yet inquisitive space for classroom discussions.
When asked what the best thing about Dove Green is, Mrs. Nour replies:
The best thing about Dove Green is the positive and happy atmosphere for children. The opportunity to teach rich curriculum topics that are interesting and allow children to have many exciting learning opportunities.
Fun Fact:
Mrs. Nour loves writing and reading poetry. She started writing when she was in year 5 at Primary School.
