All About Mrs Albakri
Mrs Albakri has amassed experience teaching English in both the United Kingdom and in the United Arab Emirates. She is well qualified and holds a degree in English as well as a PGCE in Secondary English In her career, she has worked with a variety of students, adapting her teaching methods for both native speakers and those learning English as a second language. Her time in the UAE has helped her understand different cultures, allowing her to create an inclusive classroom environment.
Mrs Albakri believes that an outstanding teacher is an outstanding learner, able to reflect on their practice in order for students to reach their full potential. In this time of great change, teachers need to be flexible and able to encourage students to be the best version of themselves.
When asked, what is the best thing about Dove Green? Mrs Albakri replies:
I’m looking forward to joining Dove Green and making a big difference to a small community school. The team and students have been welcoming and I’m excited to learn together and grow together.
