All About Mrs. Sohal
Mrs. Sohal has been teaching at Dove Green Private School as a Cover Teacher since April 2024 and has loved being a part of the school community.
Mrs. Sohal studied Law and completed her degree at Anglia Ruskin Cambridge University in 2015. She then went on to work in London in an office. In 2016, Sarina did her PGCE with an English Specialism at Middlesex University. She has a total of 7 years of teaching experience, including teaching KS2 in both a state school in East London and a globally renowned Private school in London, as well as 1-year teaching experience in the UAE. She recently emigrated to Dubai with her husband and daughter in August 2023.
Mrs. Sohal is dedicated to setting high expectations for all children and values building positive relationships with her pupils. Mrs. Sohal’s diverse experience and commitment to student success make her a valuable asset to Dove Green Private School. In her new role at Dove Green Private School, Mrs. Sohal’s passion for teaching year 6 will surely benefit her students and contribute to the school’s academic excellence.
When asked, what are you most looking forward to at Dove Green? Mrs. Sohal replied:
‘The warm community atmosphere, which reminds me of being back in the UK even though I may be miles away from my home. The moment you walk through the front doors there is a positive vibe where students are happy and wellbeing is prioritised.

Mrs. Sohal has dived 50m into the Indian Ocean when she travelled to Bali and walked the sea bed for a total of 20 minutes!
