All About Mrs Adeyemi
Mrs Adeyemi has amassed 12 years of experience teaching Science in the United Kingdom and The United Arab Emirates. She also had the role of Assistant Head of Year 7 and taught Child Development at Haileybury Turnford- UK and held the position of BTEC Course Leader for Level 3 Applied Science, Learning Guide, and the Science Faculty PGCE Mentor at Oasis Academy – UK.
Mrs Adeyemi believes that an outstanding teacher is an outstanding learner, able to reflect on their practice in order for students to reach their full potential. In this time of great change, teachers need to be flexible and able to encourage students to ‘see’ the science outside of their classroom, an example would be linking making popcorn to The Kinetic Molecular Theory or testing acids and bases with home-made indicator.
When asked, what is the best thing about Dove Green? Mrs Adeyemi replies:
I’m looking forward to joining Dove Green and making a big difference to a small community school.
